Case Study: HotelsCombined x Persollo

We are very excited to share another amazing project we've done for HotelsCombined in Australia. HotelsCombined is a hotel metasearch engine founded in 2005, with headquarters in Sydney. The site operates in over 42 languages, handles 130 different currencies and aggregates more than 2 million deals from hundreds of travel sites and hotel chains.

HotelsCombined wanted to grow their app installs in Australia. Essentially, to boost app installs and increase brand awareness, we handpicked 7 top Australian influencers (with 300K+ following) and celebrities (1.8m + following) who depicted how they are planning their next weekend getaway with HotelsCombined. Together, these influencers delivered 15 + creative media assets, sharing their experience of comparing hotel prices and getting the best deals on HotelsCombined app. Stunning images and video content went live on Instagram, Youtube, Facebook and Snapchat. The campaign performed uplift across all the mobile app install & engagement metrics for Australia. We were able to reach a collective audience of approximately 2.8 million people. The first campaign turned into ongoing partnership.
