P: Tell us shortly how did you start your way in the world of social?
M: I never thought about being a micro-influencer. All I had in mind was to capture moments of our lives - sort of a photo album which I can look at almost every day!
P: When did you realize that you have your tribe (kinda woke up famous)?
M: Nah! That’s not me - they are all my people, my friends:)
P: When did you have your 1st collaboration (paid or barter)? How many followers did you have back then?
M: My first collab was with Dyson - it was for the launch of Dyson Airwrap. I still remember I had a couple of thousand followers. This collab was so special to me firstly because I love the brand and secondly because it made me realise that a company like Dyson wants to work with me -still get goosebumps:)
P: Your best and worst collaboration experiences and why (you don’t have to call the name of brand)
M: All my collabs are good - wouldn’t categorise anyone as worst because I collaborate only with the brands I trust.
P: Who makes photos for you? How do you edit your pictures?
M: Hehe! Hubby clicks pictures for me and I use Lightroom to edit the pictures. I’m working on improving my aesthetics:)
P: You think pictures or captions are more important?
M: I think pictures help to attract attention and captures help with the details - yes, I’m very much a visual person:)
P: How do you cope with negative comments or critique on your social accounts?
M: I have hardly come across negativity. Yes - I’m lucky, ain’t I? However, negative comments are not a worry as long as they channel you in the right direction.
P: How to become an influencer — your personal recipe, given the hot new social trends.
M: Ah! I don’t think I’m an influencer - I share what I love and for me that resonates with my friends on social media💚
