Persollo: Describe yourself in 5 words

Yvonne: Determined, confident, organised, strong minded and adventurous.

P: Tell us shortly how did you start your way in the world of social?

Y: It all began when Ariana turned 1 and we started to work with small companies on the fashion side for kids.

P: When did you realize that you have your tribe – kinda woke up famous?

Y: In 2017 was when we grew, i new this was the real deal, what I want to grow and what I want my full time career to involve.

P: When did you have your 1st collaboration (paid or barter)? How many followers did you have back then?

Y: It all started in 2014 when I had my first collab. I think I only had like 3k followers in the first year of starting myself up.

P: Your best and worst collaboration experiences and why (you don’t have to call the name of brand)

Y: My best collab was working with my local shopping center. It lead to my kids and I being the face of the Centro and bigger opportunities arising. The worst was a company who approached to work with me but was so harsh towards the end because she wanted more posts then we agreed on.

P: Who makes photos for you? How do you edit your pictures?

Y: I create them myself when it’s not involving me. When I’m in the focus my partner takes them. Snapseed is a great editing tool for touch ups.

P: You think pictures or captions are more important?

Y: Honestly both, but an image is always the eye catch first.

P: How do you cope with negative comments or critique on your social accounts?

Y: Smile, ignore, delete and block. Haters are gonna hate right :)

P: How to become an influencer — your personal recipe, given the hot new social trends.

Y: Find out what your passion is in the social side – is it fashion, beauty, being a foodie? Focus on something small and work slowly on that. Then expand with incorporating more into your page. Keep it all aligned to one major niche. Example me, motherhood involves, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, foodie and events around all of them.
