P: Tell us shortly how did you start your way in the world of social?
S: 2.5 years ago, after I had my son, instagram seemed like the best platform I could post all the cute shots I was capturing.
P: When did you realize that you have your tribe (kinda woke up famous)?
S: Honestly, I got really excited when I reached 1k, now 11k later I feel content but not insta-famous, whatever that is!
P: When did you have your 1st collaboration (paid or barter)? How many followers did you have back then?
S: I believe when I reached 3k I got my first paid #ad but I was collaborating with clothing companies for my son after I reached 1k.
P: Your best and worst collaboration experiences and why (you don’t have to call the name of brand)
S: My best experiences is when brands let you steer the wheel and create content you love without having too many strict guidelines. The worst is when you put a lot of effort in the perfect capture and caption but a brand asks you to redo it many times before they are satisfied.
P: Who makes photos for you? How do you edit your pictures?
S: Most of the time I use a self timer on my canon g7x or I get a friend! All I do to edit it slap on a filter!
P: You think pictures or captions are more important?
S: I think they both come hand in hand. The pictures because that's what Instagram is all about, the "perfect" capture but also a heart felt honest caption is definatley needed!
P: How do you cope with negative comments or critique on your social accounts?
S: I don't let it bother me, you will never be everyone's cup of tea! Plus there's always the delete button if a comment is way out of line.
P: How to become an influencer — your personal recipe, given the hot new social trends.
S: Start of by posting content you love. Whether that's food, beauty products- can be anything. Be honest and your following will grow. But also be patient as it take months and years to get your tribe!
