Persollo: Describe yourself in 5 words

Molly: Fun, protective, shy, compassionate and competitive.

P: Tell us shortly how did you start your way in the world of social?

M: I started when my son was a few months old and I had him repping for a few businesses. Then I guess it just developed into more about me.

P: When did you realize that you have your tribe (kinda woke up famous)?

M: I guess it was when I started getting dms from people I didn't know, wanting to know more about either a product I was using, what location I took my photos at or just general interest in what I was saying.

P: When did you have your 1st collaboration (paid or barter)? How many followers did you have back then?

M: I think around 2 yrs ago when I had around 5k.

P: Your best and worst collaboration experiences and why (you don’t have to call the name of brand)

M: The best would have to be when I was given a car and accommodation for a few nights away with hubby. I am lucky to say that I haven't had a bad experience with businesses yet.

P: Who makes photos for you? How do you edit your pictures?

M: My hubby or should I say my insta hubby:) takes my photos for me but sometimes my 8yr old daughter will step behind the camera too. When editing my photos I usually just use Lightroom on my phone but if it is a big job I use my laptop.

P: You think pictures or captions are more important?

M: I personally think pictures because when I scroll through Insta, the pictures others post is what gets my attention.

P: How do you cope with negative comments or critique on your social accounts?

M: I guess it's life, someone will always have an opinion or criticism that you may not like. I don't expect everyone to love me. When I do get criticised I try to think about it and try and see where they are coming from, but if it is just a negative comment, I just take my daughter's advice "People like that don't stop unless you ignore them". Plus I like to stay professional online.

P: How to become an influencer — your personal recipe, given the hot new social trends.

M: I guess find what you are interested in sharing/doing and go with it. Also be sure to reply and engage with your followers. By engaging with your followers it can help you develop a relationship with them.
