P: Tell us shortly how did you start your way in the world of social?
A: I have started my Instagram account around 4 years ago, shortly after my son was born. I have always loved photography and it was the best platform to share all the pictures I was taking at that time.
P: When did you realize that you have your tribe (kinda woke up famous)?
A: When we started brand repping 3 years ago is when I realised how amazing the platform was to connect with other mums.
P: When did you have your 1st collaboration (paid or barter)? How many followers did you have back then?
A: We started collaborating with handmade clothing stores when I reached about 1K followers.
P: Your best and worst collaboration experiences and why (you don’t have to call the name of brand)
A: I have worked with amazing brands on awesome collaborations and can’t recall any bad experiences.The best collaborations are definitely the one when brands appreciate and acknowledge the time and efforts you have put into creating content.
P: Who makes photos for you? How do you edit your pictures?
A: I take photo by myself and my husband helps when I’m the one in front of the camera. I edit my pictures with Lightroom on mobile.
P: You think pictures or captions are more important?
A: I would like to think pictures are more important as it is what draws attention, but a great caption also helps in telling the story behind the photos and being more personal with your followers.
P: How do you cope with negative comments or critique on your social accounts?
A: I haven’t really had any negative comments but I’m always happy to listen to constructive criticism.
P: How to become an influencer — your personal recipe, given the hot new social trends.
A: Find out what your passion is - food, fashion, beauty, etc. Then start creating content and engage with others. Be creative and find your own style💚
